Tanaka Honke Museum, 476 Kokumachi, Suzaka, Nagano 382-0085, Japan
We are pleased to announce “Painting, Weaving, and Ceramics” a group exhibition featuring works by Yasuko KOIZUMI, who creates beautiful textiles through plant dyeing and hand weaving; Riwako SUMI, who makes wonderfully distinctive and characterful ceramics; and Eriko URANO.
This exhibition will be held at the Tanaka Honke Museum in Suzaka, Nagano Prefecture, in a Meiji-era tatami reception room that is not usually open to the public. Please enjoy new works by the three artists in an exhibition room overlooking the museum’s beautiful autumn garden.
During the exhibition period, the Tanaka Honke Museum will also host a variety of events, including “Autumn Edo-Period Cuisine: A Recreated Dining Experience”. We hope you will enjoy these events as well.
